‘Tis the season to shop local, and this Saturday and Sunday 15&U and the Leesburg Downtown Business Association are partnering with Plurro, a new mobile app that lets consumers decide and create their own promotions at their favorite small businesses, to launch the app in DC and Leesburg. The events bring together twelve local businesses allowing customers to receive special promotions when signing up for a Plurro using the free app. The app was launched in Clarendon, Virginia last week.
What: Two special launch events for Plurro, where crowds of customers will be receiving special discounts at five small businesses along the 1500 block of U Street, NW and seven small businesses in Loudoun County.

15&U:Along the 1500 block of U Street, NW. Participating stores include: Lettie Gooch, Junction Vintage, Secret Pleasures, Zawadi, and Merlot’s Masterpieces.
Leesburg: Participating stores include: Savannah’s, Downs & Co., The Vintner, Caulkins Jewelers, Windy City Red Hots, Rouge Salon and DaySpa, and Jeans Whisperer.
