Christmas at America Eats Tavern by José Andrés:
Open from 7 AM - 2:30 PM on Christmas Day, José Andrés' America Eats Tavern will feature their signature brunch offerings, a savory special, and a hands-on cookie buffet for an additional $12, including an assortment of their team's favorite holiday cookies, as well as a sugar-cookie decorating station. For those seeking a hearty Christmas favorite, José will feature a Roast Roseda Prime Rib, served with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cranberry Brussels sprouts and maple anchovy jus for $39.
Clementina at Jaleo:
This holiday season, Chef José Andrés will bring back the annual Clementina celebration at Jaleo, his award-winning tapas restaurant with three locations in the Washington DC metro area. The series will highlight the clementine, or the "Christmas orange" in a number of dishes. Harvested in Spain in the winter, Jaleo showcases the beloved ingredient in various specials such as a clementine salad, seared clementines with goat cheese, and various refreshing cocktails. The specials will run from Dec 15-28 at all three locations, but all Jaleos will be closed on Christmas Day.
