All-Star Lineup Headlines November 8-9 Metro Cooking DC Show
Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay plus James Beard Foundation Cooking Stage, RAMW Grand Tasting Pavilion, 100s of specialty food exhibitors set for two-day food extravaganza
Some of the biggest names in the culinary world will grace the stage at the 2014 Metro Cooking Show, November 8-9 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center as Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri return to headline this year’s show.
In addition, local and regional chefs all honored as James Beard Foundation winners, nominees or as guest chefs at The James Beard House, will cook on the Beard Foundation Stage. On November 8, chefs from L’Academie de Cuisine will lead cooking classes; on November 9 more than 40 restaurants will offer signature tastes at the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s Grand Tasting Pavilion.

Throughout the two day event there will be non-stop activities including ongoing tasting and entertaining workshops from knife skills to holiday entertaining to a beer, wine and spirits pavilion that will highlight local mixologists.
Known as a great shopping show, this year 300 specialty food exhibitors will showcase products - all for sale. New this year, a Natural Foods Pavilion will feature organic and natural products.
General admission tickets are $20, celebrity theater performances, cooking classes and Grand Tasting Pavilion are ticketed events and sold separately.
Ticket packages are available including a two-day celebrity theater presentation pass as well as VIP tickets affording meet-and-greet receptions with Flay and Fieri.
