Back by Popular Demand: Two Sold Out Shows Brings a Third for The Eve of Jackie on Sunday, September 28th at 7:00 PM

Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club (Bethesda Blues & Jazz) is delighted to announce the return of The Eve of Jackie featuring the award winning, Broadway performer - Chester Gregory as Jackie Wilson on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 7:00 PM. The Eve of Jackie: Tribute to Jackie Wilson show premiered at Bethesda Blues & Jazz on 9/20 and 9/21, which both sold out and had over 800 people in attendance.

WHAT: The Eve of Jackie is a closer look at Jackie Wilson, live in concert and his last complete performance. It takes place in September, 1975 on an evening of when he feels compelled to reveal his true thoughts. This performance shares his feelings and opinions on his accomplishments and struggles in his personal life and career in show business. He does not know it will be his final complete performance. The next day, on September 29, 1975, Wilson collapses on stage. Wilson had numerous top 40 pop-chart hits and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Chester Gregory, a NAACP Theatre Award Winner, will play as Jackie Wilson.
