I still can't get over how long HomeMade Pizza Co. stayed in business; but the bankruptcy gods finally came a-callin' and the Chicago-based company is... alas, no more. That means farewell to the inane concept of paying top dollar for a raw pizza; and hello to something useful. Popular sandwich shop Jetties has taken over the spot just south of Chevy Chase Circle, a few doors up from the Avalon Theatre and Magruder's. Not familiar with Jetties?
