The In Series to Present The Cole Porter Project in Repertory with Fatal Song: The Great Opera Murders, September 6-21 at Source
The In Series launches it's new season, entitled A Musical Feast, with two productions running in repertory at Source Theatre. Opening September 6, the In Series will remount its sell-out production of The Cole Porter Project. Directed by Greg Stevens, the cabaret-style show is a heartfelt and fun-filled romp through Porter’s incomparable words and music, as a delegation from Peru, Indiana tries to lobby Congress for national commemoration of Porter’s work. Running in repertory with The Cole Porter Project is Fatal Song: The Great Opera Murders. Directed by Rick Davis, this operatic pastiche features well-known music by various composers, such as Mozart, Massenet, Offenbach, and Puccini. High art meets low comedy in a delightfully entertaining evening. Heroines from famous operas sleuth and sing their way to discovering who’s out to get them.

Members of the cast will also perform excerpts. Light refreshments will be provided. This is a free community event.
Artists & Audience Dialogues: After the Saturday, September 13 performance of Fatal Song: The Great Opera Murders, the audience is invited to meet the artists and to ask questions about the show and the artistic process. There is a second Artist & Audience Dialogue after the The Cole Porter Project performance on Sunday, September 14.
