Restaurateur Hakan Ilhan, is pleased to announce the opening of Bistro Atelier at Washington Dulles International Airport, located in Concourse D, Gate D14. The 135-seat bistro from Executive Chef John Lewitt, officially opened this weekend and now brings a classic French cuisine to the airport.
Lewitt’s menu at Bistro Atelier will offer a selection of hors d’oeuvres, specialty crafted burgers, sandwiches, an extensive selection of savory and sweet crepes, plus a classic breakfast and brunch menu that will be available all day. Guests can anticipate items such as Ratatouille Crepe with eggplant, squash, peppers, onions and garden herbs and the Atelier Burger dressed with lettuce, tomato, bleu cheese and a house made bacon aioli. Also available will be Lewitt’s take on the classic Croque-Madame, black forest ham, poached eggs and Mornay, and the exemplary Steak Frites with house made bordelaise sauce, served with hand-cut fried potatoes and a salad. For early travelers’ breakfast cravings, Bistro Atelier offers Pepper-berry French Toast, Eggs Benedict and many other options.
Bistro Atelier’s cocktail list will set the stage for all the destinations with cocktails such as the “Tokyo Tea” Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Tripe Sec, Midori, Sour Mix; “French Connection” Courvoisier and Grand Marnier; “Moscow Mule” Stoli Vodka, Lime Juice Ginger Beer; plus many more.
