Celebrate Mother's Day with a Bountiful Brunch at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown
Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is pleased to celebrate Mother’s Day in the Colonnade and Juniper Restaurant on Sunday, May 11th. Both venues will offer bountiful buffets, bottomless Bloody Mary bars, mimosas and complimentary valet parking. Four seatings: 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., allow a leisurely two and a half hours to enjoy family, friends and a bountiful Mother’s Day Brunch.
The culinary team, under the direction of Executive Chef Mark Timms, will prepare an array of regional and seasonal delights from the sustainable seafood buffet to the palate pleasing dessert display.
Pee wee marbled potato and smoked salmon salad, dill crème fraiche martinis; Virginian ham salad with pimentos, pecan and Dijonnaise sauce; and trio of asparagus, Meyer lemon honey and parmesan are perfect choices to start with.
Sustainable Atlantic seafood displays offer grilled and chilled jumbo shrimp; soft shell crab salad; and east coast oyster tastings.
Whole roasted porchetta with spicy carrot slaw and Dijon mustard; rosemary and garlic-studded leg of spring lamb, chimichurri; and sustainable salmon medallions, potato garlic, watercress sauce are a few of chef’s carving selections that are bound to please the most discerning mother.
Divinely decadent pastry selections include white chocolate bread pudding, strawberry rhubarb crisp, molten lava cake, plum streusel tarts and lemon financier.
Mother’s Day Brunch in the Colonnade and Juniper Restaurant is $97 per person; including full buffet, a bottomless Bloody Mary bar with numerous toppings, mimosas, a framed family photo and complimentary valet parking.
