Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club Announces an Evening of Energy, Big Band Sound As It Welcomes Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to Its' Stage

Bethesda’s Renowned Blues & Jazz Supper Club Excited to Host the CA-Based Contemporary Swing Band for an Evening of Dancing and Modern Take on Big Band Era Style

Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club (Bethesda Blues and Jazz), an inviting entertainment venue that hosts amazing musical performances and provides fine dining experiences as well as private and corporate events, announces today that it will host California-based contemporary swing revival band, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 8:30 PM. The doors will open at 6:00 PM, and admission is $30.

About the Event: 
Bethesda Blues and Jazz will bring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s legendary swing sounds to its local audience, the dance floor will be open as fans will be unable to stop themselves from shaking and moving to the band’s famous and much-lauded grooves.

About the Band: 
Based in Southern California, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy marked its 20th anniversary on the music scene in 2013. The high-energy, nine-piece ensemble is famous for reminding the world that swing and the big band style are cool, and have a strong place in the modern cultural scene.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform selections from their latest album, Rattle Them Bones, the follow-up to their critically-acclaimed 2009 release, How Big Can You Get?

With 300 dining seats, an additional 200 performance seats and a 40 foot bar and lounge area, as well as an eclectic mix of talented performers, Bethesda Blues & Jazz can host any size of event and any type of event to suit its audience’s wide range of artistic pallets. Additionally, Bethesda Blues & Jazz has a variety of menu options that cater to any meal throughout the day. This sophisticated and well-designed setting creates the perfect atmosphere for a night of astounding performances and fine dining.

Bethesda Blues & Jazz is located at 7719 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda Maryland. The Cheltenham parking garage located in the same building as the Bethesda Blues & Jazz is the best place to secure parking for the venue. Rates for the garage are .80 cents an hour and payments are required from 7A-10P Monday through Friday. To enter Bethesda Blues & Jazz from the garage, take the elevator to the Whitney Lobby, which is directly adjacent to the club.
