Rí Rá Georgetown Brings Authentic Irish Lunch to M Street

From our friends at Rí Rá Georgetown...

New Lunch Menu Offers More Sandwich, Burger & Salad Options

Rí Rá Georgetown (3123-3125 M Street, NW), has launched its highly anticipated lunch menu now available Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 4pm. Crafted by Executive Chef Christian Struck, the menu adds a contemporary sophistication to traditional Irish lunch fare.

Guests looking to indulge during the weekdays can enjoy a delicious selection of savory burgers and carvery sandwiches. Hearty sandwiches available just at lunch include the cider braised pork, which is braised for eight hours in a cider marinade, topped with pickled onions and cider jus wilted kale, all served on a warm brioche bun. The smoked salmon RLT with grilled rasher, tomato, cucumber, and lemon aioli on wheat toast, provides a lighter sandwich option.

Burger lovers can delight in the brie and bacon burger, a zesty combination of melted brie and Jameson glazed bacon, served with house made salt & vinegar chips. Exclusive to the Rí Rá Georgetown menu, the 202 burger combines a beef patty with shaved rib, melted Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and horseradish aioli atop a pretzel bun. Each sandwich and burger is served with a choice of sides including savory bread pudding, chipper chips & curry and garlicky green beans.

Hand tossed salads provide a flavorful yet healthier option. The Rí Rá salad features a bed of baby spinach with Irish smoked salmon, pickled red onion, grilled rasher, Cashel Blue cheese, and lemon dressing. Special to lunchtime, The Med combines fresh chickpeas, roasted cauliflower, pickled onions, capers, sun dried tomatoes, and feta with house vinaigrette. The Top Chop is a satisfying medley of mixed greens, grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, tomato, red onion, and bleu cheese, lightly drizzled with mustard vinaigrette.

Rí Rá Georgetown’s selection of 24 beers on draught, more than 55 craft and domestic bottled beers, specialty cocktails, and impressive collection of Irish whiskeys are also available during lunch.

Ri Ra Georgetown is open Monday through Friday from 11:30am until close and Saturday through Sunday from 10am until close. For more information, visit Rí Rá Georgetown online at www.rira.com/georgetown/.
