Bill Cosby to Attend Grand Opening
It's good to share; and in that spirit, Ben's Chili Bowl opens a new location in Rosslyn on Thursday, March 6th. 1725 Wilson Blvd. to be exact, new digs for the DC landmark, which recently opened concession stands at Fed Ex Field and Nationals Park (in addition to Ben's Next Door, next to the 1213 U Street, NW original.) Plans for expansion also include a new restaurant at 10th & H Streets, NE (due soon.) Ben's unofficial goodwill ambassador Bill Cosby will be in town Thursday, to attend the public grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony along with Rosslyn BID President Mary-Claire Burick and County Board Chair Jay Fisette.
Last August, Ben's celebrated its 55th anniversary; and by the looks of it, have an eye on another 55 years... at least. Festivities begin at 10:30 AM, with lunch service starting an hour later.
