Goodbye The Reef... Hello Roofers Union! From the folks behind acclaimed Ripple in Cleveland Park, comes a three-level gem with a nod towards Stuffed and Stacked. Stuffed, meaning Andouille Corn Dogs, Beer Cooked Brat and Dirty Water Dogs (all served with potato chips.) Stacked refers to five delectable sandwiches, including a Fried Chicken Thigh with sriracha honey and a BLT with egg on sourdough bread. Toss in a dozen Snacks downstairs (can I hear an Amen for Crispy Pig Ears, Denver Ribs and Fried Brussels Sprouts?) and you have a veritable cornucopia of tasty bites to go with an all-star lineup of cocktails and drafts.
After a soft opening this weekend, Roofers Union hosted a Grand Opening event last night... in preparation for today's official open (at 5:00 PM.) The rooftop and its famous view of Adams Morgan is undergoing some final touches (think heaters) and should be open in March. We'll be reviewing the grub early next week. Yes, they have burgers! Beef and Black Bean Quinoa.
