DC Shorts Presents DC’s Most Relaxed Oscar Party

Snuggle with the Stars! Offers Champagne, Cocktails and Snacks in Pajamas!

Everyone throws an Oscar party, but only DC Shorts throws an Oscar pajama party. From the red carpet to the final award, DC Shorts aims to recreate the experience of watching from the comfort of your own home – only this home has a 2-story HD screen and serves up delicious foods and fancy drinks.

The event, Snuggle With the Stars!, will take place at the Navy Memorial’s Burke Theater and includes champagne, cocktails, snacks and pizza. Doors open at 6pm for the Red Carpet show and the Oscar broadcast begins at 7pm. “We wanted to create the relaxing experience you could have at home while providing all the amenities of an upscale event,” says Jon Gann, founder and director of DC Shorts.

The event will benefit both DC Shorts and the Washington Jewish Film Festival. General admission is $25 and includes snacks, beer, wine and soft drinks. A VIP ticket can be purchased for $50 and includes all the general admission fare plus pizza, specialty cocktails and a special gift.
