Falls Church will be Smashing in the New Year
Smashburger Opening Sixth DC Metropolitan Area Location in Falls Church, Virginia
Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, brings its fresh approach to the town of Falls Church when it opens its third Virginia location on Thursday, January 9, 2014. The new spot will serve its signature juicy patties – smashed fresh, served delicious – along with its Haagen-Dazs shakes, tempting sides and regional menu items crafted to please local’s palates in this DC suburb.
Smashburger Falls Church will house 79 seats with an additional 22 on its outdoor patio. The exclusive menu, created with local flavors and tastes in mind, will include standout recipes like the Truffle Mushroom Swiss with truffle mayo, sautéed baby portabella mushrooms and aged Swiss on an egg bun and Spicy Baja, packed full of punch with fresh jalapeños, guacamole, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle mayo on a spicy chipotle bun. Guests can also savor every bite of the Capital Burger or Capital Chicken Sandwich, served solely in the DC metropolitan area and topped with grilled onions, aged Swiss cheese, baby arugula, applewood-smoked bacon, tomatoes and mayo on a brioche bun.

At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash. Starting with 100-percent—fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef, the burger is smashed on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, the delectable burgers are served on toasted artisan buns and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, real cheeses and highest-quality condiments available.
Smashburger’s signature recipes and create your own burgers are smashed fresh, served delicious every time. More than just burgers, customers can also enjoy a selection of tender marinated grilled chicken sandwiches and fresh tossed signature salads, along with a variety of irresistible sides including rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries, Haystack Onions and Veggie Frites, flash-fried and seasoned carrot sticks and green beans. The restaurant will also serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including local beers, hand-spun Häagen-Dazs shakes, Honest Tea drinks and IBC root-beer floats.
