Yesterday marked the 7th annual
Taste of Friendship Heights, presented by the
Village of Friendship Heights and held at the
Village Center. The
B-CC High School Jazz Band provided entertainment, and
American University Athletics hosted a mini basketball camp (complete with Eagle players and cheerleaders.) There was also a free moon bounce and face painting for the kids... and plenty of food.
Participating restaurants included
Clyde's,
Indique Heights,
Lia's,
Maggiano's Little Italy,
P.F. Chang's and
Rosa Mexicano. There were also cupcakes for sale, courtesy of
Frosting; and assorted items from
Whole Foods, among others.
