USA Hockey to Host Public Day at Kettler Iceplex

John Carlson - Washington Capitals

Olympic Hockey... in August?

Team USA visits Kettler Capitals Iceplex next Monday and Tuesday for its National Team Orientation Camp. Although Monday's program will be closed to the public, Team USA will host a "Public Day" on Tuesday. Tickets for the star-studded (see below) event cost $40 ($30 for kids 14 and under) and are available here. Each ticket holder will also receive a collectible puck, a limited edition scarf, an American flag and access to a pre-assigned, one-hour autograph session. Very cool.

Here's a rundown of Tuesday's schedule

7:00 AM  Doors open
9:00 - 11:15 AM  Pre-assigned player autograph and open skate time blocks
10:00 - 11:00 AM  Wounded Warrior sled hockey game
11:30 AM  On-ice program, hosted by NHL Network's Kathryn Tappen
