Smashing Baby!
Smashburger is coming to town. Well, if you live/work in Fairfax, you probably already knew that (Smashburger's first local restaurant opened at Boulevard Marketplace last October) but the planned space at 1739 Connecticut Avenue, NW will mark the fast-expanding, Denver-based company's first foray into the nation's capital. Formerly home to Lucky Brand Jeans, the new digs are perfectly located just a couple of blocks north of Dupont Circle. No word yet on an opening date; but rest assured, we'll be on top of it. Until then, why not settle for a peak at the Fairfax menu; or better yet, take a trip down 66 West and taste for yourself?
