The Citi Open player field continues to grow stronger with the addition of two Top 15 players, World No. 11 Kei Nishikori and No. 13 Tommy Haas. Nishikori, Asia's highest ranked player on the ATP World Tour and 2012 Runner-Up Haas join a must-watch list of early player commitments including French Open Semifinalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, John Isner, Sloane Stephens, Gael Monfils, Lleyton Hewitt, the Bryan Brothers, Sam Querrey and Mardy Fish.

Crowd favorite Tommy Haas will be returning to Washington, DC next month looking to improve upon his 2012 Runner-Up performance and claim his first Citi Open title. Currently ranked No. 13 on the Emirates ATP Rankings, Haas is having one of the best years of his career so far in 2013. In March, Haas upset World No. 1 Novak Djokovic en route to the Semifinals of the Sony Open in Miami. Haas followed up his strong showing in Miami with a fantastic clay court season, as he won his 14th career ATP World Tour title in Munich and advanced to the French Open Quarterfinals for the first time in his career.
