Caps Release '13-14 Preseason Schedule

So much for down time. The 2012-13 NHL season wrapped up this past Monday night as the Chicago Blackhawks won a thrilling Game 6 in OT over the Boston Bruins; but time doesn't stand still in the off-season, especially after a lockout-shortened season. The Washington Capitals, who bowed out in the first round of this year's playoffs, announced their preseason schedule for the 2013-14 campaign earlier today. It features three home games at Verizon Center, and the second-ever Baltimore Hockey Classic on September 17th at 1st Mariner Arena vs. the Eastern Conference champion Bruins.
Here's a rundown of the full preseason schedule...

September 14 vs. Winnipeg Jets at Stirling-Rawdon, Ontario - TBD
September 16 at Philadelphia Flyers - 7:00 PM
September 17 vs. Boston Bruins at 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore - 7:00 PM
September 20 vs. Chicago Blackhawks - 7:00 PM
September 23 - Boston Bruins - 7:00 PM
September 25 vs. Nashville Predators - 7:00 PM
September 27 vs. Philadelphia Flyers - 7:00 PM
September 28 at Chicago Blackhawks - TBD
