The GW women's volleyball team won their third straight match tonight, sweeping A-10 foe La Salle 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-14) in front of 210 fans at Charles E. Smith Center.

The lady Explorers looked overmatched from the word GO, and fell to 3-18 overall (0-6 in conference play.) Outside hitter Kelsey Newman led a balanced GW attack with 10 kills, 9 digs and an impressive .409 attack percentage. Team leaders Lauren Whyte and junior Jamie Armstrong also posted double-digit scores (12 and 11 points respectively.) Senior Libero Candace Silva-Martin led the team with 17 digs.
