On Friday, October 12, GW basketball is celebrating Colonials Invasion at Fort Myer's Conmy Hall. For men's basketball, it's a trip down memory lane to the home that hosted the Buff and Blue from 1956 until 1975, except the shorts are a little longer and the shoes a little swooshier. For the women, it's an opportunity for Coach Jonathan Tsipis and his first-year coaching staff to get to know their neighbors across the Memorial Bridge.
All of us in the Department of Athletics and Recreation are looking forward to the chance to say thank you to the men and women of the armed forces and their families as we Raise High the Red, White, Buff and Blue at Ft. Myer.
