A Bad Moms Christmas Movie Review

Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell & Kathryn Hall (r) star in A Bad Moms Christmas

Point Break

Rotten Tomatoes Plot: A Bad Moms Christmas follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn't hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers. Directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

Mila Kunis declares early on, "I'm Amy, and I ruined Christmas." She almost ruins A Bad Moms Christmas with her nonstop "waah" routine; but lucky for us, she's not alone. A trio of new/older moms (Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines & Susan Sarandon) lends a much-needed hand to the one good thing in last year's otherwise abysmal Bad Moms... Kathryn Hall, resulting in a rare sequel that improves upon the original. Unfortunately, they're stuck with two male filmmakers, who place them in one Hangover-esque situation after another. Light on originality, but plenty of raunchy fun for a mostly female audience.

Grade: C
