Blue Point Brewing Company’s “Toasted Tour” Coming to DC’s Yards Park, Saturday, June 4, 2016
Afternoon fest to feature Blue Point craft beer, local bands, Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford, and more!
Blue Point Brewing Company is bringing its laid-back east coast flair to Washington, DC on Saturday, June 4 as part of its national Toasted Tour. The action-packed outdoor event takes parking lot partying to a whole new level with an afternoon of live music, seafood cooking demos with Celebrity Chef Jeremy Ford, and of course, Blue Point beer! The event will help support the D.C. chapter of the Surfrider Foundation which works to protect the oceans, and will feature:
• Celebrity Chef Cooking Demo: Season 13 Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford will lead interactive demonstrations on Seafood & Beer Pairings and Cooking with Beer Recipes
• Live Music: Vacationer with local supporting act U.S. ROYALTY
• Brewer Session: Learn how to Tap a Firkin with Blue Point Brewing Company Head Brewer Eric Ahlberg
• Blue Point Bingo: Fill up your Blue Point Bingo card and win great prizes by competing in challenges, playing games and sampling great Blue Point beers
WHEN: Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 2-7:00 PM
• 2:00 PM: Gates open, beer starts flowing with live music
• 2:30 PM: What the Firkin? Learn how to tap a Firkin with a Blue Point Brewer
• 3:30: Cooking with Beer demo with Chef Jeremy Ford (Mosaic IPA-battered oyster po’boy with sweet pea remoulade and pickled vegetables)
• 4:00: Live Music - U.S. Royalty
• 5:30: Seafood and Beer Pairing with Chef Jeremy Ford (Oyster on the half shell with a yuzu-based Toasted Lager mignonette)
• 6:00: Live Music - Vacationer
