Mission: Impossible - Fallout Movie Review

Tom Cruise stars in Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Out of the Blue

Rotten Tomatoes Plot: The best intentions often come back to haunt you. Mission: Impossible - Fallout finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

It's official: Mission: Impossible is the best film franchise of all-time. The sixth chapter (Fallout) continues to outdo and reinvent itself, trading jokes for jabs... and some of the most impressive action sequences ever shot on film. Cruise brags early on, "I am the storm," then proceeds to prove it over 148 breathtaking minutes, along with (gasp) new partner August Walker, played by Superman himself. Want proof? Look no further than an electrifying HALO jump, followed by a True Lies-trumping bathroom fight, and a car/motorcycle chase that rivals Bullitt & Ronin... hopefully across your nearest IMAX screen. Absolutely awesome.
