Office Christmas Party Movie Review

Courtney B. Vance stars in Office Christmas Party

Do You Party?

Rotten Tomatoes Plot: In Office Christmas Party, when the CEO (Jennifer Aniston) tries to close her hard-partying brother's branch, he (T.J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer (Jason Bateman) must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs. The latest comedy from directors Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory) co-stars Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Jillian Bell, Rob Corddry, Vanessa Bayer, Randall Park, Sam Richardson, Jamie Chung, and Courtney B. Vance in the funniest movie of the holiday season.

"It's almost Christmas. Relax." Common sense tells me to knock Office Christmas Party, a $45 million holiday movie with lots of big names & familiar faces; but 'tis the season to be jolly, even if the movie lacks a desirable number of laugh-out-loud moments. The first hour or so is relatively tame, despite promising a "fuck you vibe," before spinning out of control towards its preposterous conclusion. Along the way, we're treated to a few funny one-liners, "It's a Kia. It's what God would drive," and an age-defying, über-attractive Aniston... Not exactly a Christmas miracle, but close (and entertaining) enough.
