Bastille Presents an Election Season "Straw Poll"
Which candidate will win the cocktail race?
It’s election season. With the debates soon to begin, the rhetoric flying, and poll results coming in almost daily, perhaps we all need a cocktail. In homage to the candidates, Bastille is conducting its own campaign, in liquid form.
The restaurant has designed a cocktail for each candidate - based on popular demand, a tally of the cocktail choices will be kept, and the ‘winner’ will be announced by election day. The ‘Straw Poll’ will take place from October 4th through November 8th. Ballots will be distributed for guests to vote on their favorite ‘candidate.’
Choices include:
For Hillary: the #Crooked;" for Donald: the "Deluded Little Manhattan;” for Libertarians: the "Live Free or Die Johnson;” and for the Green Party: the “Paging Dr. Stein." For those wishing to opt out of any of the choices presented, of course the restaurant will offer the "I Vote Canada (can you say “Hello Prime Minister Trudeau?”)” Cocktails are priced at $10 each.
Now is the time for that patriotism to shine. Bastille is doing its part... guests can now do theirs.
Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered.
