City Tap House DC throws its third annual BeerBQ Battle on Monday, July 4, competing against local breweries to serve up the best barbecue as guests enjoy drink specials and cornhole. Guests can enjoy barbecue samples from City Tap, 3 Stars Brewing (DC), Evolution Brewing (Maryland), and Three Notch’d Brewing (Virginia) and vote on the BeerBQ Battle’s winner while digging into platters complete with potato salad, coleslaw, and watermelon. Featured beers from each brewery as well as John Daly cocktails with vodka, iced tea, lemonade, and triple sec will be available. Guests not inclined towards barbecue will be able to order off City Tap’s brunch menu.
Competitive guests can take it to City Tap’s patio for a cornhole tournament, and battle it out for a City Tap gift card as well as swag from the breweries. The first 32 teams to enter between 11 AM and 1 PM will be eligible to participate.
