Righteous Cheese Hosts Local Cheese and Craft Beer Class

From our friends at Righteous Cheese...

Local Cheese and Craft Beer

Righteous Cheese celebrates DMV creameries and breweries with the latest installment of its monthly class series

Righteous Cheese, an independent artisanal cheese shop in DC’s vibrant Union Market, will be holding a Local Cheese and Craft Beer class on Thursday, May 26th.

Welcome the fledgling days of summer by enjoying local treasures of craft beer and cheese! The DMV and DC-area have become home to several brewers and cheesemakers in recent years, and it’s no surprise that there are some great pairings to be found. Through tasting 4 of our favorite local brews and 4 favorite local artisanal cheeses, you’ll learn how to pair cheese & beer while getting the lowdown on the funky stories behind some special makers.

Spend an evening with Righteous Cheese in an intimate class discovering and savoring seasonal, artisanal cheeses. Fromagers Melissa Provinsal and Carolyn Stromberg will delve into the story behind each cheese and beer, as well as give advice about selecting, serving, pairing, and more.

Tickets are $49 and require advance purchase, as seating is limited to 16 attendees. Click here to learn more and purchase tickets.
