Gluten-Free Takeover Night at GCDC

From our friends at GCDC...

GCDC, Washington’s first grilled cheese-centric restaurant and bar, is creating an entirely gluten-free menu for one night only. Already known for offering gourmet grilled-cheese sandwiches on local bakery Goldilocks Goodies’ bread, the extended menu will also serve its popular lobster macaroni and cheese with gluten-free pasta ($14) and dessert French-toast grilled sandwiches ($12.) Cheese and charcuterie boards will be paired with gluten-free bread and crackers ($16 -20.) The current menu includes Crispin Blackberry Pear Cider ($7) and Bold Rock Virginia Draft Cider ($5), two naturally gluten-free ciders. Tito’s Vodka will also be stocked for gluten-free cocktails.

Loaves of gluten-free sandwich bread from Goldilocks Goodies will be available to purchase in time to make gluten-free stuffing for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving French Toast or personal grilled cheese creations at home. Loaves may be pre-ordered at http://goldilocksgoodies.com/fresh-from-the-kitchen-2/ for $10/each or purchased at the restaurant the night of the event for $13/each. Reservations can be made for parties of 6 or more by calling the restaurant at (202) 393-GCDC (4232.)
