#ThisPlaceMatters Stops in D.C. This Month!

From our friends at the National Trust for Historic Preservation...

The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently re-launched our popular This Place Matters (www.thisplacematters.org) campaign, in which we ask people both in-person and online, to share places that matter to them by snapping a picture and sharing their story with us on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.

In our own backyard here in the DMV, we’re spending weekends with our This Place Matters mobile headquarters visiting area events and special places, while encouraging the public to join in on the fun on social media. We've also added a photo contest element to our DC efforts as three grand prize winners will have a chance to tour behind the scenes at three DC region icons (Mount Vernon, Washington National Cathedral, and Union Station.) You can find more info here: https://savingplaces.org/this-place-matters-dc-photo-contest

Here's our schedule of events for the next couple of weekends (You can also visit www.thisplacematters.org for updates and future dates):
