No Redskins (they played on Thursday) meant even bigger crowds at today's 13th annual Turkish Festival. Great weather didn't hurt either, as Pennsylvania Avenue (between 12th & 14th Streets, NW) was filled with foodies, music lovers and shoppers, celebrating everything Turkish. It was one heck of a party, and a fitting end to Turkish Heritage Month. Busy earlier? You still have almost an hour (the Festival ends at 7 PM tonight) to visit and join in the fun.
