matchbox Launches Summer Sessions Happy Hour

From our friends at matchboxfoodgroup...

Inaugural Food and Drink Specials Offered Monday Through Friday

matchboxfoodgroup is thrilled to announce the launch of summer sessions happy hour at its five metropolitan Washington matchbox locations. From 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, guests can enjoy food and drink favorites at special prices, many of which are previews of dishes soon to be available on the bistro’s regular menus.

Offerings include $6 wines by the glass including the brand’s proprietary matchbox red blend, which is an exclusive collaboration with California winemaker Jed Steele, and $5 draft beers, from the restaurants’ wide selection of local and craft brews. Cocktail lovers will rejoice at the $7 “quittin’ time cocktails” like the summer sangria and southern charmer, a bourbon drink with peach nectar and black-pepper-ginger syrup.

Happy hour goers will leave satisfied after enjoying select bites that include lobster rolls, mini meatballs with mozzarella, do-it-ourselves mozzarella, and pork belly.
