What do you get when you cross The Devil 😈 Wears Prada & each (awful) Sex and the City movie or revival series? The Devil 😈 Wears Prada 2, further proof that the USA has fallen & can’t/won’t get up. Gone is any sign of cuteness or innocence that made the original so much fun. In its place, a myriad of wardrobe changes to make an old woman feel wanted again. Unfortunately the old woman (Hathaway) is only 43, and probably thinks she’s still the 20-something who takes turns being happy & sad, en route to even more outfit swaps. In between, a dull story that only promotes… (you guessed it) more outfits. I was bored to death after 5 minutes, and I’m betting you will be too.
Grade: D- (P.S. I like Anne Hathaway a lot, and she’s far from old; but movies like this, age you really fast.)
