Is this where we are? @bugoniafilm shows just how far humanity has fallen, through the eyes 👀 of a pair of barmy conspiracy theorists. If the human resistance ever bottoms out, it’s bound to resemble whatever Yorgos Lanthimos is trying to convey (whatever that is.) Emma Stone & Jesse Plemons are colorful and interesting, but it’s hard (if not impossible) to get past the farcical plot to buy into what they’re doing. Creative but irritating.
