America Eats Tavern Hosts Christmas Brunch

Chef José Andrés celebrates the holidays with a prix-fixe Christmas Day brunch

Award-winning chef José Andrés and America Eats Tavern head chef Nate Waugaman will offer a prix-fixe Christmas Day brunch. For $65 per person and $25 per child, guests can enjoy an extensive buffet featuring festive specials such as:

• Suckling Pig Jambalaya: Braised sucking pig, Andouille sausage, okra, sofrito, Carolina Gold plantation rice

• Johnston County Ham Biscuits (Curemaster’s Reserve, NC): Mini drop biscuits, blackberry jam, whole grain mustard, redeye mayonnaise, pickles

• Cranberry Glazed Brussels: Brussels sprouts, spiced pecans, dried cranberries

• Shrimp 'n' Grits: Byrd Mill grits, Meadow Reserve cheddar, pearl onion petals, ham hock

• Eggs a la Benedick: Poached eggs, English muffin, pork belly, hollandaise sauce

• Holiday Cookie Table: A nod to the Pittsburgh tradition, America Eats’ annual cookie table will feature an assortment of sweet treats inspired by American family recipes


WHO: Chef José Andrés and his critically acclaimed culinary team, including America Eats Tavern head chef Nate Waugaman will ring in Christmas Day with a variety of regional holiday dishes.
