Le Kon Adds Fresh Oysters and Thursday & Saturday Give-Backs

Inside Le Kon

From our friends at Le Kon...

Le Kon has made its mark in Clarendon, serving contemporary Mexican fare with colorful pates and authentic ingredients in a beautifully comfortable setting.

Menu highlights include entrees such as Pig Head Carnitas; Chicken al Pastor; Tempura Salmon and a variety of steaks including a 32 oz. Tomahawk cut, and more. Small plates include Ceviche; Tostadas; Chips and five salsas and prawns crab guacamole. New to the menu is a variety of raw oysters with Mezcal Mignonette including Malpeque ($12 per half doz./$20 per dozen) and Sea Grass Point ($15 per half dozen/$25 per dozen.)

On Thursdays, the restaurant will host Pride Night from 6-9 PM with a percentage of all bar sales going to NOVA Pride. Saturday evening from 10 PM to close, Le Kon will offer a portion of their proceeds to a rotating group of local causes.

Le Kon has a colorful modern urban vibe with funky design elements like Latin-inspired pop art, coffered ceiling, exposed bulbs, bright purple to scarlet ombre corn husk wall hangings festooning the top of the walls by banquets and a concrete bar with metallic copper ceiling. The hand mosaic tabletops are white Carrara marble tile. Whimsical ’Day of the Dead’ wallpaper was custom made for Le Kon.

Le Kon is located at 3227 Washington Blvd, Arlington VA, 22201, just steps from the Clarendon Metro. Limited free parking is available. The restaurant will be open from Monday thru Friday 11 AM - 4 PM for lunch and 4 PM - 10 PM for dinner. Brunch is served Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and dinner is served from 3 PM - 10 PM.
