Bastille Celebrates French Restaurant Week

From our friends at Bastille Restaurant & Wine Bar...

French Restaurant Week

$35 prix fixe dinner all Bastille Day week

While Bastille Day is July 14th. Parisian native Chef Christophe Poteaux, who, along with his wife Chef Michelle Poteaux has been serving French-inspired cuisine at Bastille Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, feel that celebration should not just last one day. Sure, there’s the annual Summer and Winter Restaurant Week. For the week of July 10- 15, the Chefs Poteaux have declared it French Restaurant Week at Bastille. All week long, the restaurant will offer a three-course prix fixe lunch at $25 and $35 prix fixe dinner of French classics to celebrate French Independence Day - Liberté, égalité, fraternité!

The meal includes a choice of starters such as soupe du jour; escargots provencales; rillettes de Saumon, followed by a choice of entrée with such selections as moules frites; poulet roti, Chermoula; and Magret de Canard.

Of course, no French meal would be complete without dessert. Chef Michelle’s delicious dessert options include a choice of coupe glacée; crème caramel; or profiteroles au chocolat. Many items on the menu are gluten-free.

Bastille's regular menu will be available all week as well.

Bastille is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM until 10 PM and Sunday 11:30 AM until 9 PM serving brunch, lunch, dinner and all day dining with café and bar menu offered. The restaurant is located in The Asher at 606 N. Fayette Street in Alexandria, Virginia, just two blocks from the Braddock Road Metro.
