Partnership Will Provide Convenient access to Ivy City for Diners and Concertgoers
Lyft, the fastest-growing on-demand transportation service in the U.S., today announced a partnership with City Winery DC, a new 40,000 square-foot restaurant, winery, and concert venue & private events space.
Opening its sixth location nationally, City Winery DC brings together a multi-purpose concert venue, urban winery, restaurant, and special event space in Ivy City, recently deemed “the next cool DC neighborhood you have never heard of” by the Washington Post. City Winery’s partnership with Lyft will help music, food, and wine lovers connect to City Winery’s state-of-the-art 300-seat concert space and 150-seat restaurant.
New Lyft users can use the promo code CITYWINERYDC to get $5 off their first two rides to or from the venue. The Lyft pickup and drop-off location is conveniently located just off New York Avenue, NE at 1350 Okie Street, NE.

According to the 2018 Lyft Economic Impact Report, 64 percent of DC-area passengers explore more areas of the District, like Ivy City, because of Lyft. In addition, 74 percent of DC-area Lyft passengers use the platform to go to restaurants and entertainment venues, and 50 percent use Lyft to get around where public transit does not operate.
