Limited to 18 guests in The Lafayette’s private dining room, one will participate with Morey, who has entertained presidents of the United States including Barack Obama. The evening performance begins at 6:00 PM with champagne and hors d'oeuvres, followed by an exquisite menu, with wines paired to perfection, designed and prepared by Executive Chef Nicolas Legret and his culinary team. A sample menu with wine pairing that will truly elevate the table for the evening begins with Brut Champagne, Taittinger “La Française” NV, served with a selection of hors d’oeuvres. Next, guests may indulge in an Amuse-Bouche of Lobster Medallion, with Sturia Prestige Caviar, followed by Vegetable, Truffle and Oxtail Consommé with puff pastry crust; Venison Loin, Spiced Carrot Purée, Braised Salsify, Roasted Pear, Sauce Poivrade, matched with wines such as Domaine LaRoche “Saint Martin” Chablis 2015 and Domaine Berthet-Raye Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2013. Taylor Fladgate First Estate Reserve Porto accompanies dessert, Chocolate Dome, providing a sweet finish to a magical evening.
