Chuy's Annapolis to Begin Hiring on October 2

From our friends at Chuy's...

Tex-Mex Restaurant to Hire 175 New Team Members at Its Second Maryland Location

Known for its freshly made recipes and fun and eclectic atmosphere, Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy’s, will be opening a new location at the Festival at Riva, located at 2339 Forest Drive. To prepare for the restaurant launch in November, the company is now hiring 175 new team members.

To support its fun and family-friendly atmosphere, Chuy’'s will be hiring a variety of positions, including front-of-the-house hosts, servers, bussers and bartenders. In addition, the restaurant is hiring kitchen staff to help prepare its made-from-scratch dishes and signature sauces. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

“We are excited to bring our authentic Tex-Mex from Austin to another great Maryland city,” said Jeff Sheehan, Chuy’'s Annapolis Local Owner/Operator. "We are looking for a team of fun and energetic people with great attitudes who are as passionate as we are about serving authentic and fresh food.”

Keeping with company tradition, the new Annapolis location is designed using the company’s motto, “If you’'ve seen one Chuy’'s, you’'ve seen one Chuy’'s.” It will incorporate its own Annapolis flair, such as a “dog wall” featuring pictures of local dogs, as well as Chuy’'s décor staples including: a custom Elvis Shrine, a “school” of hand-carved wooden fish, a hubcap-covered ceiling and the Fully-Loaded Nacho Car, an unlimited build-your-own nacho station with chips, salsa, queso and ground sirloin, available each weekday from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Interested applicants can apply in person Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM at the Chuy’'s hiring trailer located at the future site of Chuy’'s at 2339 Forest Drive.
