Celebrate the Holidays at National Harbor

Santa and Performers on Saturdays, Beginning November 12 through December 23

Holiday activities at National Harbor begin on November 12 at 2 PM with a host of holiday activities on the waterfront (150 National Plaza, National Harbor, MD 20745) including Santa’s Frosty Follies, Card Making for Our Deployed Troops, a 3 PM holiday movie, dog pictures with Santa and chances to meet Santa at the Carousel. The Radio King Orchestra plays at 5:30 PM and the tree lighting ceremony starts at 6:30 PM, followed by fireworks. The tree lighting ceremony is presented by DARCARS.

Activities continue on Saturdays through December 23 and include street performers from 1 PM to 3 PM as well as Santa at the National Carousel and then at the Capital Wheel from 2 to 4 PM.  Additional performers will be on the main stage at the waterfront plaza from 1 to 2 PM. National Harbor also welcomes ICE! at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center starting on November 18 through January 1, 2018. The world-famous interactive ICE! attraction will feature favorite scenes from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer brought to life in a walk-through winter wonderland carved from more than two million pounds of ice.

ICE! is part of Gaylord National Resort’s Christmas on the Potomac celebration that includes a variety of family-friendly holiday events and attractions. Visitors can experience new offerings including ice skating in the resort’s magical Christmas Village, Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Breakfast experience and a live entertainment show, JOY - A Holiday Spectacular, performed in the resort’s 19-story atrium. MGM National Harbor celebrates its one year anniversary and second holiday season at National Harbor with spectacular decorations throughout, including the property’s popular Conservatory where the holidays come alive with hundreds of thousands of flowers in a breathtaking display.
