Annual Bike Ride Visits Oldest Federal Monuments, the DC Boundary Stones

After-Party to take place at Boundary Stone Pub in Bloomingdale

Perfect for history buffs, bike nerds, and adventure junkies alike, this year’s Boundary Stone Bike Ride will begin at Jones Point Lighthouse in Alexandria on Saturday, October 14 at 9 AM.

Participants can ride 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sides of the DC perimeter. The total distance is 60 miles and will end with a ride to Boundary Stone in Bloomingdale for an after-party featuring prizes and DC Brau beer. The ride is self-paced and most riders split off into smaller riding groups based on pace, distance, and interest in stopping to see the boundary stones. The ride is free and there is a suggested donation to support non-profit bike programs in DC.

Guests can get more information and register for the ride at https://www.bikereg.com/bsride2017.

The Boundary Stone Bike Ride is sponsored by Boundary Stone Pub in Bloomingdale and the bike ride after-party will include beers from sponsor DC Brau. Additional partners include Phoenix Bikes, Gearin’ Up Bicycles, Bikes for the World, and VeloCity Bicycle Cooperative.
