BABA Debuts New Brunch Cocktails

Brunch-Goers Can Start Their Day with a Healthy Dose of Fruits and Vegetables with BABA's New Selection of Cocktails

BABA, the newly opened sister restaurant to Ambar Clarendon, located at 2901 Wilson Blvd., is pleased to announce the introduction of eight new brunch cocktails, each made with a different variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables, coffee or tea. Created by Mixologist Danilo Simic, BABA’s new brunch cocktails can be enjoyed in the intimate, 2,400-square foot restaurant, which offers a well lit, community living room vibe during the day. Here, guests can also selection from a variety of freshly baked pastries along with whole grain, seasonal veggie bowls, flavorful oatmeal, salads and sandwiches as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and USB power outlets found at every seat. Brunch is available daily, from 8 AM to 3 PM.

New additions include fruit-forward cocktails such as the Basement Cooler with tequila, lime, simple syrup, jalapeño, basil leaves and watermelon, and the Apple Berry Rum with rum, Velvet Falernum, lime juice, apple berry lush, orange peal and apple poke. Vegetable-based libations include the Baba’s Celery Drink with gin, lime juice, simple syrup, cucumber and celery; Ultimate Bell Pepper Cocktail with gin, bell peppers, lime and simple syrup, and the B&B with rum, beet and lime juice mix, simple syrup and mint leaves, garnished with a lime wheel.


For an early morning pick-me-up, guests can select from three cocktails made with coffee or tea. Highlights include the La Colombe Martini with vodka, espresso, simple syrup and lemon essence, garnished with a lemon coin; Time to Spare with Kamora Coffee liqueur and coconut milk, garnished with a orange peel, and the Iced Tea on the Fire with whiskey, lemon juice, honey syrup and iced tea, garnished with a frozen grilled lemon.

Brunch-goers can also enjoy classic libations including the Classic Mimosa with orange juice and Champagne; Peach Bellini with peach purée and Champagne, and the Bloody Mary with vodka, house-made bloody Mary mix, a lime wedge, and a pepper rim. Cocktails range from $5-$6 each.

BABA is located at 2901 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, Virginia, 22201, just two blocks from the Clarendon Metro station accessible on the Orange and Silver Lines. The restaurant will be open for coffee, breakfast lunch & brunch daily, from 8 AM to 3 PM. Happy Hour will be served Monday through Friday, from 4 PM to 7 PM. Dinner service available daily, from 4 PM to 12 AM. A DJ will spin Thursday through Saturday, from 10 PM until Close creating a party-like atmosphere.
