Drift on 7th Lobster Mondays

Imagine sitting on the beaches of Nantucket, Cape Cod, Ogunquit or Martha’s Vineyard. Now imagine steaming pots of perfectly cooked fresh lobsters with troths of warm melted butter and all the trimmings. These yummy crustaceans in celebration.

At Drift on 7th beginning Monday, June 19th, every Monday is Lobster Day - a little taste of the beach in the city. Chef Ferhat Yalcin cooks up succulent whole Maine lobster with fresh corn on the cob and a choice of baked or French fried potatoes - the complete meal for $35. A full cocktail, beer and wine list is available to complement the meal.


Drift on 7th uses only carefully sourced environmentally responsible, sustainable seafood all served in a casual beach-like atmosphere. The bar is underlit with ocean blue, while the walls feature warm wooden boardwalk planks and marine d├ęcor. Live Jazz music is featured every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9 PM, featuring the best of local musicians.

Drift on 7th is open Monday through Thursday from 4-11 PM; Friday until 1 AM; Saturday from 11:30 AM -1 AM; Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11:30 AM - 4 PM. Live Jazz on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 PM and at Sunday brunch from noon - 3 PM. The restaurant is at 1819 7th Street, NW, right by the Shaw/Howard University Metro station.
