Slate Wine Bar + Bistro Hosts Rosé Night

From our friends at Slate Wine Bar + Bistro...

Slate Wine Bar + Bistro Kicks Off Rosé Season with Rosé Wine Tasting

The weather is warming up and restaurants are starting to open their patios, windows and doors. That must mean that rosé season is right around the corner! What better way to kick off the season than with a Sommelier Wine Tasting Night featuring both European and American rosés?

Slate Wine Bar + Bistro in Glover Park is hosting their annual #RoséAllDay wine tasting this Thursday, April 27 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Guest are invited to indulge in a tasting of four European Rosés for $15, or three American Rosés for $16. Award-winning Chef & Sommelier Danny Lledó will be on hand to discuss the specially selected rosés.

Rosé is an often misunderstood wine, with many assuming it’s just a white and red wine mixed together. In fact, rosés are created by juicing red grapes, but only allowing the juice to soak with the red grape skins for a short amount of time. Once the juice is sufficiently pink, the skins are removed and the juice is allowed to ferment, producing the delicious and refreshing rosé wine enjoyed by many.

Chef & Sommelier Danny Lledó invites anyone and everyone to come try the rosé wine, and enjoy a snack or dinner, as the full menu will also be available.
