Hillwood Hosts Family Movie Night, Friday, May 12th

Enjoy a selection of award-winning, family-friendly short films featuring all sorts of fun and furry creatures including cuddly critters, amusing birds, and endearing pets on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens.

The film screenings begin at 7 PM. Prior to the film screenings the café will be open for express dining from 5:30 - 7 PM. Additionally the mansion and gardens will be open for self-guided touring from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.


$8 adult, $5 Hillwood member, $5 child (ages 3-18), free for children under age 3.

Embark on an animal adventure as you enjoy short films featuring all sorts of fun and furry creatures including cuddly critters, amusing birds, and endearing pets.

Relax in the gardens and enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Sandwiches, drinks, and snacks will be available for purchase from the café's express menu.

Discover treasures in the mansion on an animal art safari, then create your own work of art: a gold box decorated with animals, inspired by Hillwood’s decorative art.

Bring pillows, blankets, and cushions from home to get cozy as you head indoors and settle in for the film screening. Enjoy a selection of award-winning, family-friendly short films including:

All activities take place rain or shine. Film screenings are located indoors in the visitor center theater and C.W. Post center; and the art project takes place indoors, inside the newly completed Terrace Conservatory.
