Boundary Stone Offers Fundraising Event, Movie Night and Live Music During St. Patrick's Day Week
March 12’s St. Baldrick’s Day fundraiser kicks off a weeklong celebration, that includes a screening of “The Commitments” on March 14 and a live performance by Tomac River Line on March 17
Boundary Stone in Bloomingdale will host several events in honor of St Patrick’s Day the week of March 12-17.
Sunday March 12, St Baldrick’s Day:
The first event on Sunday, March 12 at 3 PM is a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and local teams will compete to collect donations before taking their turn in the barber’s chair. Among these teams are representatives from three local breweries, Atlas Brew Works, DC Brau and Port City Brewing. Shaves will be provided courtesy of event partner Barber of Hell’s Bottom and participants will get their shaves on site at Boundary Stone the day of the event. 2017 marks Boundary Stone’s fourth year hosting a shaving party for St. Baldrick’s. Food and drink specials will be available and guests can participate in a silent auction with prizes such as a trip to Ireland, VIP tickets to Austin City Limits, a private in-home dinner for six cooked by James Beard-nominated chef Mike Friedman, and much more!
Tuesday March 14, Movie Night The Commitments:
The Commitments is the story of a young music fanatic living in the Dublin Northside who assembles a group of working-class youths to form a soul band. The movie will begin at 9 PM and specialty food and cocktails will be available. Seating is limited.
Friday March 17, Tomac River Line Performance:
Four-piece band Tomac River Line will play bluegrass, Irish, country, and fiddle tunes. Beginning at 7 PM, Tomac River Line will get guests into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with guitar and mandolin tunes.

Boundary Stone is open Monday through Thursday 4 PM to 2 AM, Friday 12 PM to 3 AM, Saturday 10:30 AM to 3 AM and Sunday 10:30 AM to 2 AM.
The kitchen is open Monday through Thursday until 10 PM, Friday and Saturday until 11 PM and Sunday until 10 PM. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday until 3 PM. Brunch is always served on Federal Holidays and Boundary Stone will be open on snow days. Reservations are recommended but not required.
