Holiday Specials at Garrison

From our friends at Garrison...

Garrison on Barracks Row will celebrate the holiday season with special dinner offerings for both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

On December 24, in addition to the a la carte menu, the restaurant will offer a traditional Danish Christmas Eve dinner - a nod to Chef/Owner Rob Weland’s wife, Amy who grew up in Copenhagen. The dinner special includes æbleskiver (powdered Danish donuts) and a traditional pork roast with herb stuffing, gravy and braised red cabbage for $32. Additionally, one of Amy’s family adaptations of Gløgg (a type of mulled wine) will also be available for $13. The restaurant will close at 10:00 PM on Christmas Eve.

For New Year’s Eve, Garrison will ring in the new year with a four-course prix fixe menu designed by Chef Rob Weland. The meal will begin with a sea scallop crudo, followed by mushroom tortellini in brodo, a third course of traditional beef bourguignon and completed with chocolate bread pudding and a New Year’s champagne toast. The four-course dinner and champagne toast are priced at $95 with an optional wine paring for an additional $40 per guest. The restaurant will offer two seatings, 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and reservations can be made here or by calling (202) 506-2445. The full menu details can be found below.
