Kicking Off the Summer Fringe Season - Capital Fringe Music Festival, June 25-26, 2016

Capital Fringe is placing live music front and center in the Fringe summer season. Since 2009, Capital Fringe has continued to steadily increasing its live music programming. Join Capital Fringe at its first-ever two-day outdoor music festival that will feature bands on one stage under the Baldacchino Tent: June 25-26, 2016 at OLD CITY Farm & Guild, 925 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001.

Fringe is creating another free public art commotion - this time by bringing music to the masses. DC Music Download has created a 30-piece orchestra highlighting the talents of the GoGo Symphony and Great Noise Ensemble into a special free 90-minute program. Rush hour may never be the same.



Capital Fringe Music Festival
June 25-26, 12-9 PM
Featuring bands ranging from Shark Week, 178 Product to Zongo Junction will be performing under the Baldacchino Tent at Old City Farm & Guild, 925 Rhode Island Ave NW, for two days of local and live music. Curated by Fringe Chief Music Curator Jim Thomson.

Fans will not only find an incredible lineup of local music talent to enjoy, they will also be provided with a beer tent and food trucks shining the light on culinary delights of the District. Capital Fringe Music Festival is family-friendly, and kids ten and under will enter for free with a ticketed adult.

Fringe Festival pop up box office will be open Noon to 7 PM each day of the Music Festival. Fringe Festival is July 7-31. Tickets, passes and buttons will be on sale and available for pick up.
