Street Closures May Affect Travel to Caps Playoff Game at Verizon Center, April 16

Street Closures for 2016 Emancipation Day Parade May Affect Travel to Capitals Playoff Game on April 16 at Verizon Center

The DC Metropolitan Police Department will be enforcing street closures for the 2016 Emancipation Day Parade on Saturday, April 16. The parade will be taking place from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Street closures will begin as early as 7:30 AM, and go until 2:00 PM. Please click here for further details.

Travel to the Washington Capitals playoff game against the Philadelphia Flyers on April 16 at 7 PM at Verizon Center may be affected by the street closures. Fans are encouraged to provide for extra travel time, to take alternate routes or public transportation.
